Our Pledge

Hacklantic is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or technical experience level.

Expected Behaviour

  • Be respectful and considerate in all interactions.
  • Collaborate openly and communicate constructively.
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants.
  • Alert organizers if you notice violations or anyone in distress.

Unacceptable Behaviour

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • Offensive verbal comments related to personal characteristics.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Sustained disruption of talks, workshops, or other events.
  • Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.

Consequences

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender, expulsion from the event, and reporting to relevant authorities.

Reporting

If you are being harassed, notice someone else being harassed, or have any concerns, please contact the organizers immediately at contact@hacklantic.in.
